    Job Description

    Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots real-time telemetry instrumentation to include but not limited to, data loggers, transmitters, antennas, encryptors, aviation bus couplers, video encoders, strain gauges, load cells, accelerometers, and other transducers. Builds cable harnesses following established wiring standards. Sets up and configures instrumentation, installing or rigging it on the test article, supporting it during test missions, and removing instrumentation once the test is complete. Skills required include a fluency with computers, use of test equipment (such as Spectrum Analyzers, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes), soldering iron, and basic hand tools to support telemetry systems. Echocardiography technicians identify and record anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions using ultrasound imaging and simultaneous Doppler techniques; use of non-standard views may be necessary for obtaining complete diagnostic images. Patient scheduling and workflow management are also required. Responds to emergency requests for echo-Doppler studies within 30 minutes during normal working hours.
