    Summary The position is at the full performance level located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in the Engineering (Healthcare Technology Management (HTM)) Service. As an Electronics Technician the incumbent will function in a professional capacity to design, install, test, and maintain facility enterprise systems and their ancillary components. Analyze organizational needs to design, develop, and implement, customized solutions utilizing software and/or hardware. Required to identify and remediate hazardous conditions and procedures with electronic and facility enterprise systems and initiates appropriate corrective action. Recommend, develop, implement, redesign, reconfigure, or modify operating and maintenance procedures to reduce failures, eliminate hazards, or enhance accuracy and reliability. Responsible for notifying the owning service and the supervisor if they determine equipment or systems should be taken out of service because it is unsafe to operate. Provide technical expertise related to electronic and facility enterprise systems via planning, design, implementation, testing, evaluation, project management, professional consulting and reporting, data mining, and full life cycle management. Project management includes stabilizing the expansion of existing enterprise systems to newly constructed areas under renovation or modernization.     + Inspect molded bottles from conveyor line for quality assurance.

    + Observe and manage polybags in the automatic bagging machine.
