We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **Maintenance Technician** with a strong aptitude for **Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)** . In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of our assets by meticulously managing our CMMS, from asset data entry to work order administration and comprehensive report generation. This position requires a blend of hands-on technical maintenance skills and strong administrative capabilities within a digital environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ **CMMS Management:**
+ Serve as the **primary user and administrator** for the Fiix CMMS, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
+ **Add and update asset information** including specifications, preventive maintenance schedules, spare parts, and warranty details.
+ Create and manage **work orders** from initiation to completion, ensuring proper categorization, priority setting, and closure.
+ Track and manage **preventive maintenance (PM) schedules** within the CMMS, ensuring tasks are generated and completed on time.
+ Maintain a comprehensive and accurate **asset hierarchy** within the CMMS.
+ Manage and update **spare parts inventory** within the CMMS, including reorder points and vendor information.
+ **Collaboration & Training:**
+ **Collaborate** with other maintenance team members, production staff, and management to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
+ **Assist in training** other team members on basic CMMS functionalities and best practices.
+ Contribute to the **continuous improvement** of maintenance processes and CMMS utilization.
+ **Reporting & Analysis:**
+ **Generate reports** from the CMMS on key maintenance metrics such as work order completion rates, asset downtime, maintenance costs, and PM compliance.
+ **Analyze CMMS data** to identify trends, recommend improvements, and support decision-making related to asset performance and maintenance strategies.
+ **Provide insights** based on CMMS data to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce operational costs.
+ **Maintenance Support**
+ Execute a variety of **maintenance tasks** , including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and others as assigned through the CMMS.
+ **Troubleshoot and repair** equipment malfunctions, documenting all actions and findings in the CMMS.
+ Perform **preventive maintenance inspections** and tasks according to established schedules.
+ Respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
**Qualifications**
+ **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical) preferred.
+ **Experience:** 5+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role.
+ **Technical Skills:**
+ Proficiency in CMMS or similar maintenance software (e.g., Fiix, SAP-PM, Maximo, UpKeep, eMaint, etc.).
+ Basic understanding of data analysis, graphing, and reporting methods.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
+ Familiarity with various hand and power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
+ Availability to work on first or second shift, as well as overtime and/or weekends

+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance.
