Hiring Housekeeping Positions-

Open Availability Required

We are hiring for room attendants and housepersons

Hours are usually from 8am to 4:30pm

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁ Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment (vacuums, polishers, etc.)
⦁ Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials
⦁ Clean wash basins, mirrors, toilets, tubs, and showers daily
⦁ Dust furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.
⦁ Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc

⦁ Wipe counters and clean windows/mirrors

⦁ Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials

⦁ Replenish toiletries and complimentary items

⦁ Change linen, towels, make beds.

⦁ Maintain all safety/sanitation standards, including compliance with all regulations issued government agencies
⦁ Report any needed repairs immediately. Such repairs may include: scuffed walls, leaky faucets, burned-out lights, loose tiles, missing screws, damaged art, malfunctioning heating/cooling equipment, etc.
⦁ Report any security issues to Rooms Division Manager, Housekeeping Manager, or other member of the management team
⦁ Respond constructively to feedback from management team and Housekeeping Supervisors
⦁ Participate in scheduled deep-cleaning projects
⦁ Restock housekeeping carts with fresh supplies, as needed
⦁ Meet time requirements and speed expectations
⦁ Maintain crisp, clean, and professional personal appearance. Wear appropriate uniform, which may include smock, hair net, and name tag
⦁ Perform all housekeeping duties in accordance with IHG brand expectations
⦁ Deliver exceptional customer service to guests at all times
⦁ Maintain a cooperative and helpful environment with colleagues and fellow staff
⦁ Always adhere to all company policies/procedures and any applicable state/federal laws
⦁ Other duties as assigned

⦁ Strive to build and maintain good and productive relationships with all team members
⦁ Be able to communicate respectfully with colleagues and guests

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
⦁ Previous housekeeping experience helpful.
⦁ Communication skills in working with guests, managers, and other personnel.
⦁ Ability to work a flexible schedule.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires physical stamina. To fully perform his/her duties, Room Attendants will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, bend, push, and pull. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move continuously during work hours. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50-75 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to work with prescribed cleaning chemicals.
