We have an opportunity for a Sr. Program Specialist (Project Manager) to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will report directly to our Program Manager / Sr. Program Supervisor. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

As a **Program Lead** here at Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS), you will play a crucial role in leading and managing programs / projects. You will be responsible for overseeing programs & project activities, ensuring the successful delivery of program & projects, and providing guidance to project management professionals. Your strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive results will be essential in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities**

+ Lead the allocated Program and manage & consult the Project Managers for the program’s projects

+ Apply applicable Honeywell QA and project management procedures / methods like e.g., GPM/GDM & HOS

+ Report relevant new business opportunities to account managers

+ Work with sales (on request) to ensure that project proposals are supported with proposal deliverables e.g., risk/opportunity, estimate, project plan, planning

+ Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure using the integrated tools (Primavera, MsProject, SAP, CORA, etc.).

+ Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation

+ Monitor and reports project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables

+ Monitor and control the financial status of the project (EAC, Billings, cost budgets, milestone payments, rebates, warranty)

+ Identification and manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies

+ Coordinate the project team members and communicate project status and updates to stakeholders

+ Ensure project documentation is complete and up-to-date, maintained / archived, made available, utilising project workspaces, to all parties concerned and effectively used (managing the project)

+ Provide guidance and support to project management professionals

+ Establish professional relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction

+ Drive continuous improvement and implement best practicesResponsible for technical scope of assigned projects

+ Travel to customer required at a yearly average of 30% - Flexibility is required

+ The duties and responsibilities of workers in the field of safety and health at work and emergency situations - in confirmation with Annex A/B

+ Create the conditions to enable effectively working teams. (A balanced team)

**Key skills and qualifications**

+ University graduate - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

+ Project management certification / trainings (e.g., PMP)

+ Minimum 4 years relevant experience with domestic and international projects, projects included in a program

+ Experience in leading and managing projects of varying complexity

+ Knowledge of project management methodologies

+ Ability to adapt to changing project requirements

+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

+ Ability to motivate and inspire project’s team members

+ Good understanding and operational experience to drive a One-Honeywell approach

+ Commercial & Financial expertise and experience.
