As a Service Manager - (Principal Chemical Engineer) here at Honeywell, you will manage the UOP service relationship with customers in the region, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will build strong relationships with customers and become knowledgeable about their refinery and plant configurations, processing goals, and strategies.

You will report directly to our Service Operations Director and you’ll work out of our Seoul location.

In this role, you will impact customer operations by providing technical support, optimizing processes, and driving successful product launches, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

-Manage the UOP service relationship with customers in the region.

-Build strong relationships with each customer’s personnel across various levels of the organization.

-Acquire in-depth knowledge of each customer's refinery/plant configuration, processing goals, and strategies.

-Identify how UOP products and services can be applied to meet customers' processing goals.

-Collaborate and support the CSO business to achieve service financial targets.

-Oversee all customer service interactions with UOP and ensure necessary agreements are established.

-Regularly visit customer sites for in-depth discussions and consultations on current operations, process performance, and any issues related to UOP technology transfer.

-Manage troubleshooting efforts for the assigned customer base with assistance from UOP’s Technical Service Department personnel as necessary.

-Support new unit start-up and catalyst reload activities; determine and coordinate work scope and schedule for UOP site support.

-Collaborate closely with UOP CSO counterparts to share customer intelligence and develop specific strategies to target, win, and retain future business.

-Promote the development of UOP's in-country service presence by supporting activities such as mentoring new locally hired CDP engineers.

-Work with customers and legal teams to draft and finalize applicable service agreements.

-Assist in the collection of receivables.

-Prepare meeting and activity reports and maintain customer account plans and SFDC.

-Assist in the preparation of, and participate in, UOP Regional Technical Symposia and Sales Meetings.

**YOU MUST HAVE**

-Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.

-Minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in refinery operations and/or support, either with UOP or a refiner.

-Significant experience in a technical support or operations role in one or more major refining technology areas.

-Strong writing, oral, and presentation skills.

-Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.

-Previous experience in managing a group or in a service manager role is preferred.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
