We are seeking a proactive and experienced Sourcing Large Project Sourcing Leader to lead the sourcing activities for large-scale and complex projects at Honeywell Building Solution, ensuring optimal procurement processes and supplier engagement to achieve project goals. Your expertise will be vital in driving cost efficiencies and enhancing supplier performance while managing complex project requirements.
**The candidate should have a strong understanding of procurement strategies, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations, with the ability to implement cost-effective and timely sourcing solutions that align with project goals.**
Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing strategies meet project timelines and requirements, assisting the Sales Team in acquiring complex projects by defining sourcing strategies, collaborating with P&E and Operations to develop low-risk sourcing solutions, and securing robust 3rd party agreements.
The LPS leader will form partnerships with subcontractors to ensure competitive costs and enhance productivity efficiency. After awarding contracts, tasks include achieving savings through re-bidding processes, final negotiations, and value engineering practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Sourcing Strategy Development:**
+ Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with project goals and budgets.
+ Analyze market conditions and trends to recommend sourcing solutions that enhance project value.
+ **Vendor Management:**
+ Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with potential vendors and suppliers.
+ Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable back-to-back terms and conditions, ensuring quality and compliance by ensuring Structured RFQ Process
+ Prepare detailed RFQs that clearly outline project needs, timelines, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines. This allows vendors to tailor their proposals effectively.
+ **Cost Control and Post award Optimization:**
+ Monitor and control procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets for large projects.
+ Post-award actions involve achieving savings through re-bidding process, final negotiations and value engineering practices ensuring quality standards.
+ **Risk and Compliance Management:**
+ Identify sourcing risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines.
+ Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations throughout the sourcing process.
+ **Collaboration with Project Teams:**
+ Collaborate closely with P&E, Sales and Operation teams to understand project needs and timelines.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to create sourcing plans that support project schedules.
+ **Performance Metrics:**
+ Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for sourcing activities and vendor performance.
+ Analyze and report on sourcing outcomes and supplier performance to senior management.
+ **Team work and Development:**
+ Cross Collaborate with other sourcing team members, fostering a culture of professional growth and high performance.
+ Conduct training sessions on sourcing best practices and market intelligence.
**Qualifications/ Professional Skills / Knowledge**
+ **Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
+ **Experience:**
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, particularly in large projects.
+ Proven track record of successfully sourcing for large-scale projects in .
+ **Skills:**
+ Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
+ **Certifications:**
+ Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent procurement certification preferred.
+ Additional certifications in project management or contract negotiation are beneficial.
