_The individual is responsible for enabling, guiding, and supporting the implementation strategy of OPEX in the plant, focusing on the continuous improvement of material flow, production line design, including calculations for Kanban and/or supermarkets, materials, and tools at the point of use, etc._
_The individual has knowledge in launching new products through the application of a plan for each part (PFEP - Plan For Every Part). This will involve deploying the strategy, creating and facilitating Lean and Six Sigma tools, and training in problem-solving._
_The individual must have interpersonal and communication skills, as he is responsible for executing the OPEX strategy and ensuring effective implementation and achievement of objectives._
_The individual should be a trainer and facilitator of a culture of continuous improvement. The position requires strategic planning, initiative, and commitment to OPEX principles to execute their functions._
**_Key Responsibilities_**
+ _Support, train, advise, and mentor leaders, supervisors, team leaders, and operators on the processes and tools related to the principles of OPEX (HMX) as defined in the standard implementation framework._
+ _In collaboration with the HMX team and the Plant Leadership team, promote continuous improvement through the implementation strategy._
+ _Drive standardization and proper application of Lean tools specifically focused on achieving the correct flow of materials, tools, and people to ensure that productive and functional areas operate in sync with customer requirements._
+ _Share knowledge with other OPEX (HMX) specialists and Honeywell teams to obtain support and continuous updates on the latest improvements/updates of OPEX (HMX) through benchmarking efforts aimed at leading the development of "best-in-class" operational practices._
+ _Implement the necessary tools, processes, and training to deploy the Honeywell Operating System (HMX)._
+ _Conduct learning events such as Kaizen, Rapid Problem Solving, and others._
+ _Lead the focus on standardization and consistency of OPEX (HMX)._
+ _Monitor and promote the cultural change implementation throughout the entire value chain._
+ _Optimize plant layout and design, with the main goal of improving the flow of materials, tools, and activities related to production._
+ _Follow the plant’s quality control guidelines._
+ _Identify and eliminate waste._
+ _Create a culture that promotes and maintains methodologies such as lean manufacturing, including 5S, Kanban, SMED, OEE, etc._
+ _Work directly with the implementation teams and provide support in all practical activities._
