**Job brief**
The Advanced Engineer will play a critical role in the physical characterization of target materials for R&D activities. This position is essential for driving business growth through innovative solutions, timely customer issue resolution, and comprehensive material decomposition analysis. Be responsible for physical laboratory management and development.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Conduct professional and critical physical characterization of materials to support R&D initiatives. Perform thorough material decomposition analysis to identify key properties and behaviors.
+ Resolve customer issues related to physical properties and analytical challenges timely. Provide detailed reports and insights to ensure customer satisfaction and trust.
+ Work closely with the R&D team to provide critical physical property data and insights. Support the R&D team in resolving any analytical issues related to physical characterization. Drive innovation by exploring new techniques and technologies for physical characterization. Contribute to the development of novel solutions that enhance product performance and reliability.
+ Manage the physical laboratory status and workload, develop and implement laboratory procedures and best practices to enhance productivity and accuracy. Manage and understand all laboratory equipment, maintain its good operating condition, and complete testing tasks timely. Complete patent application requirements, mentor and train new employees.
+ Ensure lab to adhere to HSE requirements. Follow SOPs, and LIMS protocols. Foster a healthy 5S environment in laboratory management.
**Requirements**
+ Education: M.S. or Ph.D.in Materials Science, Physics chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Experience: Proven experience in physical characterization and laboratory management.
+ Skills:
+ Proficiency in using advanced analytical instruments (e.g., Rheometers, SEM, XRD, etc.).
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
+ Preferred candidates shall have know-how on refrigerant properties, semi-conduct materials test or polymer material analyses related.
