As a **Machinist - Level 2** here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce high-quality components for the aerospace industry. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the production of essential aerospace components, ensuring that they meet the stringent quality standards required in the industry. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence and reliability in aerospace technologies.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Operate and maintain CNC machines and other machining equipment to produce precision components.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
+ Perform quality inspections and troubleshoot machining issues to ensure product specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain various machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts and components
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications
+ Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy
+ Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
+ Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
+ Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues to minimize downtime
+ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
+ Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and meet production goals
+ Continuously improve machining processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machinist or in a related role.
+ Strong technical skills in operating CNC and manual machining equipment.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Experience with quality control processes and inspection techniques.
+ Knowledge of machining materials and tools used in aerospace manufacturing.
