Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our team in a doctor's office setting. The role involves drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing. You will be responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, ensuring their proper entry into our computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing specimens to the appropriate analytical area. Additionally, you will perform specified analytical testing as assigned while adhering to the guidelines of our Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
+ Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
+ Ensure proper entry of specimens into the company's computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing.
+ Distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical area.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Follow guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of prior phlebotomy experience.
+ Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.
+ Knowledge of laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.
+ Experience in specimen processing and patient care.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Exceptional communication skills.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Work Environment
This part-time position is located in a general care practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role involves working closely with medical assistants and drawing blood from physicians' patients. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 8 AM to 12 PM. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
