Location: HonorHealth Cancer Care, 10460 North 92nd Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85258

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in a physician’s office setting. This role involves drawing blood, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate and timely handling of biological samples. You will play a vital role in supporting patient care and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform blood draws and venipuncture using various techniques, including butterfly needles

+ Collect and receive biological specimens

+ Accurately enter specimen data into the computer system

+ Prepare and process samples for analytical testing

+ Distribute specimens to appropriate departments

+ Perform pre- and post-analytical testing tasks

+ Conduct specified analytical testing as assigned

+ Maintain compliance with all professional standards and the company’s Code of Conduct

Top Required Skills:

+ Phlebotomy (CPT certification required)

+ Blood draw and venipuncture

+ Specimen collection and processing

+ Experience with butterfly needles

+ Pediatric and geriatric blood draws

+ Strong customer service and patient care skills

+ Proficiency in laboratory procedures

+ Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting

+ 2–3 years of prior phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Must be able to handle difficult sticks and working with cancer patients is a plus.

+ GED or High School Diploma required

+ Strong interpersonal skills and integrity

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
