Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate IOP Phlebotomist to join our team in a physician’s office setting. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing blood, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate and timely handling of biological samples. You will play a vital role in supporting patient care and laboratory operations, particularly in a cancer care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform venipuncture and blood draws using various techniques, including butterfly needles.
+ Collect and receive biological specimens and ensure accurate data entry into the computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate departments.
+ Handle pre- and post-analytical testing processes.
+ Conduct specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Provide excellent patient care, especially for pediatric, geriatric, and oncology patients.
+ Uphold professionalism and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

+ Phlebotomy certification (CPT)

+ Strong customer service and healthcare communication skills
+ Proficiency in laboratory procedures
+ At least 6 months of experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) setting
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with difficult sticks and working with cancer patients is a plus
+ GED or High School Diploma required
+ Strong interpersonal skills and integrity

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
