Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Scottsdale Rheumatology, 14201 North 87th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85260
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (exact hours TBD)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in a physician’s office setting. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing blood, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate and timely handling of biological samples. You will play a key role in supporting patient care and laboratory operations.
This position involves:
+ Collecting and receiving biological specimens.
+ Accurately entering specimen data into the computer system.
+ Preparing samples for analytical testing and distributing them to the appropriate departments.
+ Performing pre- and post-analytical testing tasks.
+ Conducting specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance with our Code of Conduct.
Top Required Skills
+ Blood draw and venipuncture
+ Specimen collection and processing
+ Phlebotomy certification (CPT)
+ Experience with butterfly needles
+ Pediatric and geriatric blood draws
+ Strong customer service and patient care skills
+ Proficiency in laboratory procedures
Preferred Qualifications
+ 2–3 years of prior phlebotomy experience
+ GED or High School Diploma required
+ Strong interpersonal skills and integrity
+ Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
