We are seeking highly qualified professional individuals to fill a temporary Manufacturing Engineering Internship at our Mesa Arizona facility.
NOTE: This is a PAID Internship. *Local candidates only*
Primary Responsibilities
This role will perform various Manufacturing Engineering projects as a member/intern of the organization and will include:
· Design tools, fixtures, and material handling aids for assembly of Nammo Defense products
· Author equipment validation test plans and reports
· Author and update visual based assembly work instructions
· Perform hands on testing and debugging of manual and automated assembly tools
· Support current production programs
· Present data, conclusions, and recommendations to team and management as required
Requirements, Education & Skills
· Currently enrolled and/or attending college in a Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering program
· Basic understanding of machining and metal working processes
· Experience using common hand tools to assemble or repair machines and equipment
· Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
· Experience using 3D solid modeling software
· Experience designing for and using 3D printers
· Proficiency with software applications for engineering and business to include MS Office applications
· Excellent critical thinking, communication, reading and writing skills
· Other duties as required by management
