Summary: The Multi-Product Business Development Manager is mainly responsible for selling Wind and Solar Spare Parts and Repairs, Diagnosis and Monitoring Solutions, Grease and Oil Products and Solar and Wind Spare Parts to its customers. The position is responsible for implementing a sales strategy to capture new utility customers.
Requirements:
+ Develop, direct and oversee the sales strategy to capture new utility customers for the Spare Parts & Reconditioning business. Implement sales strategy and establish and set objectives and goals, in line with the yearly Management Plan and Strategic Plan of the company. Present strategy to management and coordinate and report on activities to parent company in Spain.
+ Establish and manage relationships with existing customers and obtain new customers. Identify and pursue opportunities and capture sales. Take initiative and fulfill duties consistent with company standards, policies, and expense budget.
+ Pursue potential clients and convert them into increased business opportunities.
+ Present new products and repair services to improve existing relationships.
+ Engage internal and external contacts.
+ Research and cultivate an accurate perception of the organization’s mission and goals.
+ Forecast sales objectives and ensure they are fulfilled by the business development team.
+ Submit and ensure data is accurate on weekly progress reports.
+ Attend industry functions, including conferences. Attend and support industry events and tradeshows.
+ Prospect new businesses by networking, cold calling, or other methods.
+ Interface directly with Utilities customers.
+ Conduct numerous face-to-face meetings and strategic conference calls with customers.
+ Identify, support and influence key decision makers.
+ Identify and pursue opportunities and capture sales.
+ Identify, develop and convert sales leads.
+ Provide sales and technical support to customers.
+ Lead the common Sales Life Cycle of an order, starting from an identification of an opportunity, proposal generation and submittals thru contract negotiation and final approval of a purchase order.
+ To support other team members (mainly supply-chain management/project management) throughout the whole process of logistics, delivery, and successful commissioning/acceptance in order to ensure full customer satisfaction. However, after the project acceptance has been confirmed by the customer, operations departments will take responsibility.
+ Prepare and present business strategy and sales results.
+ To help identify business internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as its external opportunities and threats.
+ To stay well informed about the policies and business wind and photovoltaic market status in each of the assigned regions under his/her responsibility.
+ To work with product development and product management/marketing to ensure products support customer requirements. To collect information about competitor’s products and strategies.
+ Manage and prioritize daily workload.
+ Participate during internal sales calls and communicate results.
+ To follow the company’s core values including its mission and vision, and to stay aligned with its strategic business plan on a corporate level and business unit level.
+ Improve his/her individual skills with summits, workshops and training.
+ Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
+ Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.

Qualifications:
+ Minimum 5 years experiencein sales with a strong emphasis in wind and solar with key customer relationships.
+ Strong knowledge and experience of the wind and solar power market and customer is highly valued.
+ Strong experience selling Spare Parts and Repair Services to customers.
+ Sales territory and account management.
+ Provide consultative selling, negotiate and close large opportunities.
+ Proven ability to work with multiple functional areas and interdepartmental teams.
+ Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and effectively determine priorities.
+ Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
+ Strong communication and presentation skills.
+ Successful Wind and Solar sales experience.
+ Competent in assessing customer needs and identifying sales opportunities.
+ Good people skills, able to manage and motivate.
+ Proactive and results oriented to work in a rapidly growing industry.
+ Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking and analytical skills required.
+ Strong team orientation, foster teamwork with improved ideas and resolution to problems.

+ Extensive travel required (minimum 60%).
Anticipated Salary Range: $89,000-$105,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
