Where You Will Work
Our newly built 56,000 sf facility in Chandler, Arizona is just one example of how Advantest is leading the way in precision manufacturing by investing in our ability to deliver real-time decision making through connected networks of data to help improve manufacturing processes and productivity. Our parts boast standard tolerances of +-.0004”, setting new benchmarks in the field. We have spared no expense for our new CNC Machining Facility in Chandler by equipping it with Hermle RS2 Robot Cells that use 6-axis Kuka Robot feeding pairs of Hermle C22U 5-axis Machining Centers and 72 Hermle 5-axis CNCs with advanced automation technologies that uses Swiss fixturing and Robotics from Erowa.
What You Will Do
Responsible for deburring, cleaning, blasting, and polishing per manufacturing specs.
Remove loose or fixed burrs, cleaning up sharp edges, polishing and blending machined part surfaces.
Basic understanding in use of conventional measuring tools and techniques, to assure compliance with technical specifications.
Use pneumatic and mechanical tooling to include sanders, buffers, and polishing equipment to deburr parts.
Inspect finished work to required specification.
Provide technical and miscellaneous support to other departments, as needed.

Other Details for Your Consideration
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime as required, but not guaranteed (currently 10-15 hours per week of OT available)
Hourly Pay: $17.54 - $27.16 (rate varies based on how well your background and skills align with the position requirements)
Location: Chandler, Arizona – McClintock and Chandler Blvd.

Requirements
What You Will Bring to the Role
Basic understanding in use of conventional measuring tools and techniques, to assure compliance with technical specifications.
Ability to deburr under microscope and assemble if needed.
Visual acuity is required for part inspection and reading dial gauges, blueprints, instruction sheets and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to meet deadlines, concentrate, and pay close attention to detail.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Must be able to bend, stoop for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift, move up to 50lbs.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read instructions written in English.
