The Associate VP, Product Management conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Associate VP, Product Management requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise-wide.

The Associate VP, Medicaid Product Management is responsible for coordinating and overseeing cross-functional Humana Pharmacy Solutions (HPS) teams to deliver products and services to State Medicaid agencies. This role leads all phases of the product life cycle, from RFP to Run the Business, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched the AVP, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Decisions are typically related to intradepartmental coordination. This individual will lead development and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes, and develops and implements strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Act as strategic partner to influence and support overall Medicaid Pharmacy strategy

+ Drive alignment between HPS, Medicaid Market, and State Agencies

+ Translate state requirements into tangible deliverables

+ Coordinate work across the Product Life Cycle for new and existing states

+ Drive continuous improvement across the Product Life Cycle

+ Leverage industry expertise to identify and solve problems

+ Lead dedicated team to drive successful outcomes across the Product Life Cycle (RFP, Implementation, RTB)

+ Serve as central point of contact for Pharmacy escalations

+ Educate and influence State Agencies on better practices

+ Act as liaison between Humana Pharmacy Solutions and Medicaid Market

+ Coordinate work across HPS in conjunction with Medicaid Market Operating Model

+ Partner with HPS leaders to ensure appropriate talent and staffing for key deliverables

+ Drive a successful matrix reporting structure

Qualifications:

Medicaid Strategy Experience

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Preferred) or equivalent experience

8 or more years of Management Experience

10 or more years of technical experience

**Pay Range**

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$203,400 - $279,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
