As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of Project Sourcing across Cross-Functional Teams within the Company at a Portfolio level. Your responsibilities will extend to fostering continuous improvement and promoting enhanced collaboration throughout the business and across projects. This involves managing reporting, collecting and validating data, and spearheading structural changes and actionable initiatives.
· Analyze, update, and drive decision making with data on subcontractor performance across IGS Portfolio
· Align cross functionally with Engineering, Inventory, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Estimate Team, Finance, and other internal teams on subcontractor performance.
· Maintain an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on subcontracts
· Recognize and communicate subcontract issues; collaborates with Project Managers and Sourcing Team; facilitates meetings with subcontractors that to ensure areas of concern are being addressed and performance issues resolved
· Support Sourcing and Procurement team on providing cross-functional collaboration with other functions within the Supply Chain realm.
· Analyze, evaluate and recommend improvements to the organizations on compliance and department operating procedures.
· Identify supplier issues and actively participate in the development of mutually acceptable solutions
· Support on analysis, data collection on procedure gaps and propose improvement plan.
· Responsible to help define MOS for critical key priority metrics withing the Sourcing and Procurement organization.
· Support documentation, process mapping and training roll out for Services, Buyouts and Direct Materials categories.
· Advise management of its contractual rights and obligations relating to terms and conditions and the incorporation of contract flow downs.
· Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to define process improvements.
· Support lead negotiator, and/or lead subcontract negotiations in all subcontract actions assigned; Ensures procurement compliance with Corporate and Sector policies and procedures
· Executes quick-react requirements identified by the program team in accordance with supply chain management direction
· Responds to data calls and supports all internal and external audit activities.
· You work with a sense of urgency; proactively engaged with the internal program office/contracts group and support lead Program Managers when dealing with matters of subcontractor cost, performance and schedule.
· Maintain, analyze, and update subcontract records and support financial forecasting.
