**Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Artist to serve as a crucial link between our artistic and engineering teams. This role involves collaborating closely with a multifaceted, interconnected team dedicated to crafting engaging, first-party infrastructure, systems, and tools for our platform aimed at shaping the metaverse.

**Required Skills:**

Technical Artist, Metaverse Responsibilities:

1. Partner closely with the engineering, design and art teams to develop content across a range of devices.

2. Implement runtime logic within a complex real-time environment with performance limitations in mind.

3. Develop broad technical expertise to assist in a wide variety of technical and artistic tasks, including diagnosing and fixing bugs, quickly solving issues with cross-functional leads.

4. Design, manage and maintain the pipeline from artists and end users through to deployment.

5. Provide technical direction and guidance to artists on the best practices for using new tools and workflows.

6. Analyze project timelines and resource allocation, proposing adjustments to optimize production schedules through technology and process enhancements.

7. Document workflows, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across teams.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

8. 7+ years of experience developing real-time experiences.

9. Demonstrated expertise with at least one of the following pipelines: Environments, Runtime Behaviors, or Asset Pipeline.

10. Expertise in at least one low-level programming language (C++ preferred).

11. You understand architecture for complex tools and pipelines with a focus on content creators.

12. Experience in shader languages (GLSL, ShaderLab, HLSL).

13. Experience with game/real-time profiling and optimization techniques.

14. Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams.

15. Experience building strategic visions and working within leadership in large organizations.

16. Expertise working with version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.), using advanced workflows.

17. Consistently give and take constructive feedback, direct next steps, and communicate clear goals and outcomes to your team.

19. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and automation within the art and entertainment industries, identifying emerging trends and technologies that can enhance production quality and efficiency.

$153,000/year to $212,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
