**Description**

Under general supervision, provide complex and diversified support cost control, schedule, change management/forecasting, progress measurement, and reporting.

+ Assist in monitoring project controls for assigned projects. This will include the management of effective change management systems

+ Review/processing of invoices, manage and control vendor payments, recovery of overpayments, monitor and manage back charges

+ Assist in cost control function, including preparation of project forecasts, cash call projections, cost reporting, capturing and reporting costs amalgamating FMI and EPCM systems, and maintaining budget reporting integrated within the change management system

+ Assist in monitoring progress performance and address issues identified by controls manager or PM

+ Assist in schedule reviews and perform schedule analysis

+ Assist in reporting requirements

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Full-time student enrolled at an accredited four-year university majoring in an appropriate Construction Management discipline or related field of Engineering; **OR**

+ Recent college graduate having graduated within 12 months prior to internship start date with a degree in Construction Management or related field of Engineering

**Criteria/Conditions**

+ Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English

+ Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

+ Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet time-sensitive deadlines

+ Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
