The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a novice **IT Asset Management** **Analyst** to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems support team in Palmdale, CA.

Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

+ Managing the administration of IT inventory, asset management, and technical service contracts.

+ Maintaining and managing software license information and updates.

+ Work with Manager and IT Procurement in the development of IT purchasing standards and procedures.

+ Create and manage asset management systems and serve as liaison to the Finance and Legal departments as it relates to the functions of the position.

+ Ensure corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing IT hardware and software assets.

+ Responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of asset management systems for all IT technical assets.

+ Provide support to the Finance department by providing asset information and managing the physical inventory control.

+ Define requirements for asset acquisition and procedures to include management and disposal strategies for the enterprise.

+ Responsible for asset budget preparation, coordinates with IT Procurement on receipt of purchase orders, invoice processing and reconciles changes in inventory.

+ Remotely support sites at Edward's AFB and El Segundo, CA. Some limited travel between those sites may be required.

+ Lift and move IT equipment up to 40 pounds

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Master's Degree with 0 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience OR Associate’s Degree with 4 years of experience OR High School diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of experience.

+ Candidates must have a current DOD **Secret** level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered

+ Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to **Special Programs** as a condition of employment

+ Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project) and Agile principles including use of associated tools such as Jira.

+ Experience with IT systems and technologies.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Active Top Secret, SCI, Polygraph, or SAP/SAR access would be nice to have

+ Previous experience in asset management of technical or high-value assets

+ Familiarity with ASM, CMDB, or Jira

+ Working knowledge of IT systems such as desktop computers and network/server devices

**Salary Range:** $72,100 - $108,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
