As a Material Handler Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our facility. You will be accountable for tasks such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Your attention to detail and dedication to safety will contribute to the overall success of our operations. You will report directly to our Materials Manager and you'll work out of our Groveport, OH location.
In this role, you will impact our operations by ensuring the timely delivery of materials to facilitate production schedules, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and adhering to safety protocols.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of shipments
+ Store materials in designated locations and ensure proper organization
+ Retrieve materials and distribute them to the appropriate departments
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
+ Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
+ Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
YOU MUST HAVE
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role

+ Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
+ Knowledge of inventory management systems

+ Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
