A key member of the Hardware Engineering team, this role will be to create and review electrical designs and drawings to deliver on a Defence maritime platform management project.

Due to continued growth to support a high profile project, this role is increasing our existing Electrical CAD Design team capability and experience.

Our UK Defence business is a Sovereign software and systems centre of excellence. As well as developing and supporting UK wide and internationally deployed multi-domain command and control systems, our work is critical to the modern backbone of the Royal Navy. **Responsibilities:**

+ Produce electrical schematics using AutoCAD electrical

+ Support the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM)

+ Provide electrical engineering support to the Electrical Design Engineering team

+ Develop component libraries to support schematics

+ Review electrical schematics in accordance with relevant standards and internal Computer Aided Design (CAD) processes.

+ Maintain documents and drawings through development and production changes

+ Collaboratively support other engineering functions from a mechanical drawing perspective

+ Raise and action Change Notes (CN)

+ Manage and adhere to configuration management processes for baseline control throughout the full project lifecycle

**We are looking for:**

+ Strong experience in an Electrical CAD position

+ Understanding and working knowledge of electrical related Defence Standards, including Lloyds Register and other Military Standards (e.g. Def Stan 59-411)

+ Proficient user of AutoCAD Electrical or similar

+ Ability to work independently on own initiative, as well as within a collaborative team environment

+ Ability to work under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment

**Security clearance:**
