Summary You will serve as a MATERIALS HANDLER (FORKLIFT OPERATOR) in the Installation and Logistics Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA. Responsibilities You will perform a broad range of standard receiving assignments at multiple storage facilities, receive shipments, and sign receiving documents. You will perform or directs the unloading of trucks using common hand tools and materials handling equipment, identify items damaged in shipment and alerts the appropriate authority of serious discrepancies. You will operate various forklifts capable of lifting as much as 15,000 lbs. to move, load, unload, transfer and transport and stack or unstack palletized goods, boxes, crates, merchandise, materials and supplies from one location to another. You will verify signature match with authorized signature cards or listings maintains customer accounts records utilizing automated systems to fill orders, verify inventory levels, place stock.
