**Hiring Installation Technicians**

+ Assist with the Upfit of Water, Dump, Chipper and other utility trucks.

+ Mechanical Aptitude, Hydraulics, Electrical Wiring, Vehicle Assembly.

+ Monday – Friday, 6am start to 2:30pm (OT as needed)

**Summary**

You will perform heavy duty modifications on truck mounted equipment in accordance with CTOS and factory standards under the general direction of the Shop Manager. See CTOS equipment at https://www.customtruck.com/

+ Installation and removal of different types of truck bodies and equipment.

+ Modification of truck wheelbases, installation and removal of truck suspensions.

+ Electrical and Lighting Modifications: Utility trucks often require additional lighting, power outlets, and other electrical components.

+ General knowledge of electrical components such as: switches, relays, fuses, circuit breaker, diodes, resistors etc. is desired.

+ Knowledge of 12V electrical systems including multi-plex wiring.

+ Ability to follow both written and verbal installation instructions.

+ Physically able to run wiring harnesses along frame rails of truck and in between drive axles.

+ Maintaining tools, equipment, and shop area for the purpose of ensuring the availability, and functioning of, required tools and equipment within a safe work area.

+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Performing other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient & effective functioning of the work unit.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Valid Driver’s License

+ Basic computer navigation and software skills.

**Physical Demands and Work Environment**

+ Most of the work is performed in a shop.

+ Ability to use carts, forklifts, hand truck, pallet jack, and equipment of such nature.

+ The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more.
