As a Receiving Inspector here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of incoming materials and components. You will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of incoming products, conducting visual inspections, and performing measurements and tests to ensure they meet the required specifications. Your attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will contribute to the overall success of our aerospace operations. You will report directly to our Quality Manager, and you'll work out of our Redmond, WA location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by ensuring that only high-quality materials and components are accepted into our inventory. Your inspections will help prevent defects and non-conformities, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary range is $60- $72K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet the required specifications

+ Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and tests to verify product quality

+ Document inspection results and maintain accurate records

+ Identify and report any non-conformities or quality issues

+ Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues

+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the receiving inspection process

+ Perform, review and approve First articles

+ Collaborate with supplier quality and Quality engineering on tasks to strengthen Receiving inspection

+ Reduce disruptions in the factory including but not limited to procedure improvements, incoming data review, identification and rapid problem solving of incoming disruptions

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Receiving Inspector or in a similar quality inspection role

• Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and tools

•Attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results

• Basic understanding of quality management systems and standards

WE VALUE

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

• Experience in the aerospace industry

• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems

• Certification in quality inspection or related field
