**Responsibilities**

The Clinical Therapist II Lead conducts psychosocial assessments develops treatment plans and implements therapeutic interventions. Provides individual family and group therapy psycho-education support groups and other therapeutic activities. Identifies assesses and intervenes with high-risk circumstances. Complies with all legal and regulatory reporting intervention documentation and referral requirements. Collaborates with treatment team collateral contacts and community agencies to coordinate service delivery during and after hospitalization. Advocates for patients and families and provides connections with internal and external resources. Provides learning experiences and supervision for clinical students from affiliated schools and programs as assigned. Provides clinical supervision for interns as assigned. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement process and activities.

**Qualifications**

+ Minimum of two (2) year of experience in an acute psychiatric setting with specific age population required.

+ Masters degree in Counseling Clinical Psychology Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work from an accredited college or university.

+ Mandatory supervision training through an accredited or approved school a state agency or an approved Continuing Education Provider required.

+ Able to: communicate effectively in English in person in writing and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Knowledge of specific age groups; Knowledge of laws and procedures for reporting to regulatory agencies; Knowledge of clinical legal and ethical standards of practice.

**Pay Range**

$50.51 - $60.04 /hour
