Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. **Responsibilities**

The Financial Analyst assists in the preparation, coordination, review and analysis of the financial activities for the assigned markets(s)/department(s) in an efficient and accurate manner. This includes the development of forecasts, budgets, supporting the monthly closing process and process workflow of documents for authorization. Moreover, the incumbent assists management in the decision-making process and strategic planning by presenting relevant financial reports in a clear, concise, and timely manner. This Analyst will utilize statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making. In addition, they will mine, process, and analyze internal and external data to assist the senior operations team in evaluating and improving the performance of the organization in a number of key areas. The successful candidate must develop a good understanding of the business's model, clinical and operational objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders.

+ Provides financial analysis and reports.

+ Assists in creation and monitors yearly operating and capital budgets.

+ Provides training on financial reports and software to our operational partners.

+ Consolidates and interprets financial information for management.

+ Ensures integrity and accuracy of financial analysis development.

+ Identifies and implements improved methodologies to accumulate, store, process, and report data.

+ Uses critical thinking skills to analyze data independently.

+ Collaborates with others to acquire information and materials.

+ Facilitates program and serves as liaison between external and internal customers.

+ Researches and resolves issues for customer.

**Qualifications**

**MINIMUM**

Bachelor’s Degree Finance, Accounting, or related field.

One year of accounting, finance, or business analysis.

**PREFERRED**

2 years accounting, finance, or business analysis

Experience in a healthcare setting.

**Pay Range**

$25.25 - $36.61 /hour
