**Responsibilities**

**Position Summary:**

The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse and/or licensed medical practitioner in caring for the clinical patient and providing the best possible individualized nursing care in a timely manner with emphasis on cost containment.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ One year of experience in a outpatient medical office or physician clinic setting

+ Background and knowledge in medical terminology

+ Ability to clearly communicate and understand English

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

+ Current BLS required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Two years of experience in a clinical setting

+ Associate's degree in a related field

+ Medical Assistant certification

+ Working knowledge of state-supported programs specific to rural health clinics

+ English-Spanish bilingual fluency

**Pay Range**

$23.00 - $24.81 /hour
