**Responsibilities**

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values the Ultrasound Tech I performs diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail and performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.

**Qualifications**

+ Less than one year experience in Abdomen OB/Gyn Color Doppler and Neurosonography.

+ BLS Certification

+ Must be well versed in both general and cross sectional anatomy as well as physiology.

+ Demonstrates knowledge of (Must be familiar with) Ultrasound procedures both diagnostic and interventional.

+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients staff and physicians.

+ Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment.

+ Self motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.

+ ARDMS certified and CPR certification required.

This position is represented by SEIU Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

**Pay Range**

$57.54 - $68.95 /hour
