Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles. The Hope Street Family Center (HSFC) was established in 1992 as a community program of California Hospital Medical Center. Original program funding was provided by a research and demonstration grant from the federal Head Start Bureau as a national effort to develop more effective ways to support young children and families.

**Responsibilities**

+ All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization.

+ This position is responsible for providing support to families involved in the child welfare or probation systems of care.

+ Acts as an advocate for the family in all aspects of the Wraparound process.

+ The Parent Partner provides in-home services and assists families in accessing needed community resources.

+ Interfaces professionally with DCFS DMH court systems schools and other community liaisons.

**Qualifications**

+ A minimum of one-year experience in community outreach and advocacy work preferred.

+ High School equivalency preferred.

+ Past consumer of DMH DCFS Probation Regional Center or similar services successfully transitioned to self-sufficiency.

+ Bilingual English Spanish language skills required

+ Familiarity with utilizing a PC and basic computing programs.

+ A valid California driver's license use of a car and certificate of insurance.

**Pay Range**

$23.00 - $30.11 /hour
