**Responsibilities**

**Position Summary:**

Staff Nurses assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an ill neonate through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Current California Registered Nursing (RN) license

+ Graduate of an RN School of Nursing

+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ IBCLC certification preferred

+ One (1) year of recent acute care experience preferred

+ Bachelor's degree in health-related fields preferred

+ Computer literacy preferred

+ Post partum experience within the last year Labor and Delivery vaginal recovery and hemorrhage care experience within the last year

**Pay Range**

$59.59 - $77.30 /hour
