**Description**

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking applications for a full-time non-exempt Dental Assistant (Sterile/Float) on the Mesa, Arizona campus.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

+ Complete instrument and equipment sterilization on a daily basis.

+ Ensure all instruments are clean and ready for the next day's procedures.

+ Sterilize used instruments and check out clean instruments to students and/or faculty.

+ Maintain dental equipment inventory and supply control system as needed.

+ Weekly spore tests.

+ Sterilization, OSHA standards, HIPAA regulations, suction lines, traps & DUWL experience preferred.

+ Will serve as a Dental Assistant float as needed.

**Education & Experience:**

+ At least one year of previous inventory/supply room experience.

+ Understanding of supply chain management.

+ Four-handed dentistry experience, x-ray certification, and CPR certification required.

+ Microsoft Office Suite experience helpful.

+ Familiarity with Sterilization, HIPAA regulations, and infection control procedures.

+ Effective communication skills.
