**Responsibilities**

**Position Summary:**

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health the Central Service Distribution Technician is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for his/her contribution toward the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families. This position performs a wide variety of technical and manual tasks in the Central Service Department under the direction of the Central Service Manager.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum:**

+ One (1) year of storeroom or shipping experience or CSR distribution experience required; however the experience requirement is waived for individuals who have completed a Central Services Technician (CST) externship at Sequoia Hospital.

+ High school diploma or its equivalent

+ Familiarity with various Materials Management systems.

+ Basic computer skills. i.e. Data entry e-mail and handhelds.

**Preferred:**

+ Knowledge of linen principles desired.

**Pay Range**

$33.04 - $40.60 /hour
