**Overview**

Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. **Responsibilities**

Responsible for the recruitment and interview process for hospital-supported physician recruitment for the Sacramento Market area. This includes Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, Mercy General Hospital and Methodist Hospital of Sacramento. This position will be accountable to Market and Hospital leadership creating a comprehensive value proposition for all open recruitment opportunities, working collaboratively with physician practices and IPA leadership. Additionally, standardize the recruitment and interview process. Assists and collaborates with the other team members to ensure the retention of physicians and providers.

**Qualifications**

**Required:**

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, decision-making and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Strong writing skills needed to help develop letters, reports, marketing materials, etc.

+ Thorough knowledge of healthcare recruiting practices and networks.

**Preferred:**

+ 0-5 years experience in physician recruitment or related physician activities

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

**Pay Range**

$49.20 - $71.34 /hour
