Summary About the Position: Serve as an Instructor Operator for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) flight, training operations and as a Training Instructor responsible for instructing military students, DoD, and contractor personnel on procedures for operating UAS through instrument control and MQ-1C Gray Eagle Unmanned Aircraft System. Responsibilities Plan, manage and is responsible for the execution of UAS simulation, ground, and flight operations on a daily basis. Coordinate airspace clearances, flight line operations and maintenance support. Deconflict UAS and communications frequencies relating to the mission. Schedule equipment, instructor pilot and student training for each class. Schedule cadre currency training. Prepare risk assessments and prepare and conducts mission briefings and debriefings. Maintain Aircrew Information Read File. Ensure that all flight training and flight operations forms and records are completed. Instructors work with consultant to deliver direct instruction to students in the areas of communication, transition, and pre-employment skills.

The instructor is responsible for identifying and increasing a student’s strengths, interests, and abilities related to employment skills acquisition and job development; and is responsible for ensuring that the students learn competitive, marketable skills during their work experiences.

**Performance Responsibilities:**

•Assess the learning strengths and areas of development and interests of the student.

•With the student’s input and the results of the assessments, develop goals and outcomes.

•Instruct students on employability skills such as but not limited to communication, technology, problem solving/critical thinking, teamwork, personal appearance, financial management, professionalism, self-determination, self-advocacy, resume’ writing, interview skills, and job search.

•Assist the student in developing a portfolio to include certificates of skills attained, letters of recommendation from internships, etc.

•Utilize teaching methods, materials, curriculum fidelity, and adaptations appropriate to meet individual student’s needs.

•Assess student’s progress in the classroom and at the work experience site.

•Monitor and record daily attendance in class and at the work experience site.

•Teach student to inform instructor or supervisors at the work experience site of absences/tardiness.

•Assist student in training about public transportation and teach student to access public or private transportation.

•Have monthly written communication with consultant and other parties as identified and meetings.as needed.

•Provide employers at the work experience sites information about disability awareness and strategies on how to supervise individuals with disabilities.

•Maintain accurate and complete files for each student.

A Yoga / Meditation Facilitator instructs various levels of _hatha_ yoga classes and related yoga and meditation offerings. They are responsible for teaching group and one/one sessions of yoga and meditation, and participate fully in the functioning of the yoga/meditation department and the resort organization. A Yoga Facilitator always ensures a high quality guest experience at Miraval.

**_Education and Experience:_**

+ Minimum 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification, 500 hours preferred

+ Minimum of 4 years of prior in-person teaching experience with various populations and 5 years of personal practice

+ Knowledge and experience with formal meditation practices, such as Mindfulness, Pranayama, Lovingkindness, Yoga Nidra, Walking Meditation and Sound-baths preferred

+ Excellent public speaking skills

+ CPR/1st Aid Certification required

+ Familiarity and willingness to teach a wide range of asana traditions

+ Requires behind the scenes attention such as cleaning and organizing

+ Ability to work as a team
