The VA NSOC defends, manages, and monitors the network operating status and cyber security posture of the VA by providing the day-to-day management, operation and configuration of the enterprise network infrastructure, Internet Gateways, the delivery of enterprise security systems and services, the monitoring and reporting of security incidents, the conduct of threat and vulnerability analysis, the validation of adequate security controls within the enterprise and the full range of functions across the spectrum of activities relating to incident management, incident response and enterprise network management.

Seeking a ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer/.Net Developer for full time work remote work (or travelling distance to Martinsburg, WV) at the VA’s Network Security and Operations Center (NSOC) as part of the SNOW Development team.

**Responsibilities**

+ ServiceNow (SNOW) development using the Application Platform

+ Provide expertise on all technical questions related to development on of SNOW

+ Create and manage scripts and workflow.

+ Develops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component integration tests

+ Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes, and build this into the design

+ Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis

+ Resolve escalated issues with a sense of urgency

**Qualifications**

+ At least three years of ServiceNow platform capabilities

+ Certification in ServiceNow Application Development

+ Experience in JavaScript and Jelly scripting languages

**_Qualifications_**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred

+ 12+ years’ experience in SAP OTC Build/Run preferred

+ Full-Cycle SAP OTC implementation

Design and architect scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
Integrate Education Cloud with other relevant systems using industry leading practices like APIs and data models.
Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and external partners.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
Document solutions effectively for future reference, reusability, and knowledge transfer.
Provide sales support by developing solution designs, content, and financial estimates for RFP responses and other sales activities.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to support client and/or internal initiatives. Most project work will be performed remotely.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
5-7 years of experience serving as a Salesforce Technical Architect with 2+ years working with Salesforce Education Cloud or Education Data Architecture.
Proven history of project leadership, sales and business development support, and client engagement management.
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Education Cloud functionalities such as Enrollment Management, Learner Success, Community Management, Student Lifecycle Management, or Advancement.
Experience working with higher education institutions and their specific challenges related to student lifecycle management, admissions, and enrollment.
Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect. Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Force.com, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, and integration and security best practices.
Strong understanding of Salesforce Education Cloud features and functionalities.
Experience working with higher education institutions and their specific needs (admissions, enrollment, student lifecycle management, advancement, etc.).
Experience with data modeling and integration methodologies.
